There she studied under the renowned Montessorian, Ursula Thrush. After her training she taught at several Montessori schools in the bay area until she opened Montessori House of Children in 2002. Her love of teaching and her gentle and cheerful manner has touched the lives of many children and families over the years.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"bioSpace\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"directorPic\">\n<img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/old.cdcontractors.com\/mhoc\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/director.jpg\" alt=\"Susanna Petty\" width=\"170\" height=\"238\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-23\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"directorText\">\n<h2>Our Director<\/h2>\n<p>Susanna Petty was a certified Montessori preschool teacher for eight years in Rocklin, CA. In 2009 she moved to Nevada City with her husband. She is now the mother of three children. Since being introduced to the Montessori Method during her studies in early childhood education she has remained a devoted follower of Dr. Montessori\u2019s philosophy. It has always been a dream of Susanna\u2019s to have her own Montessori preschool and in 2014 the opportunity presented itself.\n<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"space\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"dashedSpace\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"staffHeading\">\n<h2>Our Staff<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"staffText\">\nOur committed and experienced staff is devoted to giving your child a positive and nurturing educational environment in which to thrive.
